Role Responsibilities 

• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace at all times 

• Wear PPE, when appropriate 

• Adhere to health & safety regulations 

• Be punctual at all times, allowing sufficient time to travel to projects 

• Address all communications in a polite and professional manner, including all clients and tradespersons 

• Undertake any tasks that the supervisor provides. We will ensure these tasks are appropriate for your level and will communicate where further training is required 

• Promote the business, where possible. Commission opportunities are available and can be discussed during your first interview 

• Safe and correct handling of various tools and materials, specific to carpentry 

 

Role Requirements 

You will need to possess the following professional attributes and practicality: 

• Have the ability to think ahead – preparing for each day appropriately, including tools, clothing, PPE, etc 

• Have an understanding of how to correctly and safely dispose of materials and off-cuts 

• Be willing to ask questions and learn 

• Adopt a proactive approach 

• Take pride and passion in your work – ensure it is always completed to the best of your ability 

• Be willing to undertake further training or courses, as required 

• Flexibility to work overtime, on the rare occasion, when the urgency of a project permits 

• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team – this would include co-workers, supervisors, contractors, various tradespersons, etc.
